Alright, so, I’ve been forcing myself to work out at least 3 times a week since May. I’m the kind of person who rarely enjoys physical activity. It’s not something I do often, mostly because I’m so busy. But it’s something I wanted to make myself try. I wanted to grow stronger and look better naked. And I wanted to develop healthier habits to accompany my new lifestyle changes already in place. I’ve hit 70 days in my quit smoking plan. I have caved a few times here and there but I have never gone back to smoking. This is huge for me. I’ve smoked 5 years and really thought I was a slave to it. I also ate very shitty, pretty much every day, towards the end of my time in Los Angeles. So, I’m cutting back as much as I can on the nasty habits and starting up healthy ones to replace them with.
I’ll be honest. It’s been really hard to be dedicated to lifting and running on a regularly basis. But I’m surprised at how I’m keeping up with all my goals. My lungs feel amazing. My skin looks better than it has in years (smoke was RUINING my knuckles and neck…pretty sure I was allergic). My throat is no longer on fire anymore. (How the fuck was I ever doing this for so long????? Miracle of miracles!) I figured I’d make my body look as good as it feels on the inside. And I’m proud of the progress so far! Sure sure, night lighting really does exaggerate things lol i’m still pretty twiggy vs. meaty but idgaffffffff
